I am chair of the Tax and Wealth Transfer Group, and represent numerous family businesses, U.S. residents and non-resident aliens, multi-national entities and both publicly and privately-held companies. I frequently handle complex tax planning and structuring involving corporate mergers and acquisitions, as well as matters involving partnerships and limited liability companies. I have lectured frequently throughout Florida on tax and estate planning with respect to closely-held businesses.I was instrumental in advising local operating partners in connection with a joint venture with a Fortune 100 company for the acquisition and development of power generation plants. I recently handled the sales of two mid-market companies in the promotional products business and the money wire transfer industry to private equity firms, as well as the complex reorganization of several multi-national entities.
