With an extensive background and hands-on experience in GAAP Accounting, Graphic Design and Business Management, I moved from Florida to California with my family in 1990. My first position was with an international firm in Beverly Hills. I moved on to working with Paramount licensees on product design and distribution.I wanted to spend more time in Santa Barbara and seized a position at Regal Rents for a Sales and Event Consultant. Two years later, they offered me a position as General Manager. I moved our facilities to a new 20,000 square foot location and built market share from $2M to $4M in annual revenue. In 2004, Regal was sold to Classic Party Rentals and we expanded to three warehouses with over 40,000 square feet and almost $8M in revenue. From sites in Carpinteria, Santa Barbara and Buellton, we supplied a full catalog of event resources to the Central Coast. Classic became the nation’s largest party rental company with 33 locations nationwide and $300M in annual revenue. I learned a wealth of knowledge as we conquered numerous tactical pivots, lean initiatives and compliance requirements. My team received awards for Top Location and Top Sales Team and we achieved a strong safety record in an accident-prone industry. Including multiple 365-day periods without a loss of work injury.Serving on the Executive Committee and in the role of Treasurer for multiple terms with the non-profit DMO, Visit Santa Barbara, I have acquired a deep understanding of the Hospitality Industry.What if you could have a dedicated team member that is like an all-in-one business tool with an unrelenting positive attitude?
