Forest Lake Junior Rugby Union Club started in 2005 with 30 players and now has 150 registered players from U6 to U14.Junior Rugby is all about creating the opportunity to enjoy rugby across all levels of skills and from the very young playing games of touch, through to teenagers playing the full version of the game.In 2013, we commissioned our District Sports Facility at our home grounds and we are now focussing on fund raising for irrigation of our fields and the addition of training lights to enable our club to grow further!2013 was our most successful season with every team from U10 to U14 finishing either 1st or 2nd in their competitions. I was the sole traning officer for Queensland responsible for teh training and development of Financial Planning Professionals and their support staff for the state of Queensland. Working in a small and dynamic team in State Office headed by Paul Geisel, I was responsible for both training on financial planning software and education standards for advisers, and sales support for the Area Managers for Queensland. During my time in this role, I received numerous national staff awards in recognition of my work which included the development of a National Sales Reporting System and the implementation of a Plan Building software to simplify the preparation of advice to a high standard.
