The director of Information Management and Consulting/CIO at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) has the roles of information manager and head of RSM's IMC department, consisting of 6 teams.The CIO is also a member of RSM's Strategic Platform.IMC (Information Management and Consulting) aims to have information technology optimally strengthen RSM's business. This is done in a demand management function (what do we need/how can we influence our primary processes - and how can we make this happen?), while also having realization power in both a technical and project management capacity.The IMC department consists of IT consultants/project managers, application managers and software developers, working on the RSM.nl and ERIM.nl websites, various (web) applications and various research projects, directly working with RSM researchers. As of January 2015 IMC also features a Learning innovation team, consisting of instructional designers, e-learning specialists and support staff.Achievements: Reorganization from IT-centered support organization to IT business partner / demand organization.
