Extensive experience in Business School executive leadership and the strategic management of business education and applied research, including the leadership of research centres and units, major program and curriculum reform, program and portfolio design and the design, launch and delivery of major management and business programs. My research interests cover a range of areas across leadership, management and organisational studies. Recent research has focused on relational leadership, leadership development, IT systems and organisational change, new technology at work, and organisational discourse. I am currently dedicated to leading a portfolio covering MBA programs, executive education, leadership, engagement and entrepreneurship for Australia's largest business school. I have been a Chief Investigator on a number of major research projects funded by the Australian Research Council, the International Labour Office, the National Centre for Vocational Education Research and the International Centre for VET Teaching and Learning. Published in international journals including: Work, Employment and Society; Industrial Relations; New Technology, Work and Employment; the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science; and Economic and Industrial Democracy. I have been Visiting Scholar or Professor at Strathclyde Business School, University of Strathclyde, Imperial College Business School, Imperial College London and at the Harvard Kennedy School. I have consulted widely to corporations, government agencies, research institutes, employer associations, and unions. I present to business and policy forums, as well as research workshops and briefings.
