I joined DICE to assist them with their transition to the Internet. They moved from a private X.25 network bring users in to Major BBS to one of the first websites for IT job seekers. We also founded a regional ISP with a frame relay and ISDN network that covered central Iowa. The Whittemore Independent is a small, hometown newspaper in Whittemore, Iowa, that was started by a friend of our family while I was still in high school. I assisted them in a variety of roles through my college years.

Helped DWX start as a small ISP and web development company, supporting their dial-up and leased line services.

Worked in a variety of roles for these companies (all were partially owned by the same person and operated out of the same offices), including software development (Brosen created a floral ordering kiosk built using Apple Macintosh computers, Macromedia Director, and custom XObjects to extend the basic application framework), network and dialup support (I-Link was one of the first ISPs in Iowa), and network consultant for customers of NetWorks.

Helped to support their Macintosh application, Color It!. Also worked on the development of a paint program that was designed to be bundled with scanners.
