Active Health Group has been firmly established as the leading provider of Sports Therapy, Soft Tissue Therapy, and Integrative Health courses. All AHG courses are recognised by the relevant governing bodies and health regulators. Established in 2000, we have trained over 3,000 sports therapists from all over the globe and continue to support colleges and universities in their own training provision.

I set up STO initially as a networking group for therapists working in sport in North West England, as a means to share knowledge, jobs etc. This quickly grew with members joining from all across the UK. In 2005, we joined the soft tissue governing body, GCMT, and became a fully fledged Professional Association. Since 2005, STO has played a lead role in the industry, helping with government regulation, improving standards, and creating opportunities. After 20 years my role is that of President, and is more of a guiding role, than a leading one, and I am excited to see what the next 20 years brings to this outstanding organisation.
