With the knowldege and experience I gained as a Pizza Hut frnashisee of 150 stores, I now consult with other business owners and entrepreneurs. I'm also a speaker and author of the highly acclaimed book, “Pie in the Sky”, Adventures of a Pizza Hut Entrepreneur. This Book encompasses my adventures as I progressed from a pioneer bare bones, trial and error.
I was the first franchisee of Pizza Hut when I opened the store in Topeka, Kansas in 1959. By the time that I either merged or sold my stores in 1979, I had owned 150 Pizza Huts in fourteen states, plus Mexico and Canada. I thus created businesses with actual value of 700-800 million dollars for myself and my associates of which I owned about 60.
