I'm the software guy. A child of the 80s and 90s, my passion for computing started on a BBC computer, followed by a Commodore 64 and an Atari #IYKYK Bitten by the computer bug from an early age, talking a language no-one in my family understood, I made the decision not to go to university (my parents were not happy), firmly believing that by the time i'd learnt it, that it was out of date. Instead I embarked on a series of training and accreditations in the IT and software world, before starting my first company at just 18 years of age. Early on in my career it was a proud moment to see the photo sharing software I developed selected for feature as the cover-mount disc for Photoshop Focus Guide (November 2006). Since then i've gone on to be win a number of awards for my work, including two Innovation Awards for my work with the NHS / Leicestershire Health Informatics Service (NHS). Fast forward +25 years on and i'm still running my own software development company in the UK, working on projects for many national and international companies you will have heard of, doing work i'm proud of and well honestly my family still don't understand what I do ;)
