Part of a double-whammy of exciting news. In tandem with promotion to CD, I was also moved from Barclaycard to our largest account, Samsung UK. We have a great relationship with Samsung and they’re constantly offering Iris new challenges in the TV, domestic appliance and mobile device markets.

Hired initially to work on ongoing CRM for Barclaycard, I also lead the Club Wembley and Wacom teams. The Creative Director on the Barclaycard account left the agency in 2016 and from that point I was de facto creative lead on Iris' #3 client by income. Promoted to Creative Director in October 2017.

When I joined The Gate, I inherited a talented creative department that was in the doldrums. The agency had not won a pitch in 18 months. Over the following year, I reinvigorated the team which lead to a pitch-win ratio of 80%. Merging with CST in the teeth of a recession in 2010 was an interesting experience... But getting to know advertising legends Dave.

Returning to a now much larger Teamspirit which had just become part of the Chime group. Highlights inlcude launching UBS Global Asset Management in the UK and relaunching Scottish Widows working alongside Leo Burnett. Other clients included Aviva, Prudential, unbiased.co.uk and Lloyds TSB Business.
