Ellwood Atfield is a niche recruitment and executive search firm with two legal entities based in London and Brussels specialising in corporate communications, public affairs and policy. Having first worked with the Company when they were a client of FD Solutions I was recruited by the Managing Director, Ben Atfield, to help him transform the business, set the strategy and put in place the systems, processes and culture to help the business to grow.In addition to being responsible for all aspects of finance, and being a Director and Company Secretary, I also managed the operations team which included IT and marketing.

My portfolio of clients included; a property management company, an internet start-up, a manufacturer and distributor, a fast growth award winning architectural practice, an engineering practice becoming employee owned, and a trade association facing new competition. Working with my clients I implemented new finance systems, designed and implemented EMI schemes, secured bank and non-bank funding and prepared businesses for sale.
