We're a small charity doing big things in the Yorkshire Dales. Through our own work and by supporting others, we care for the people, landscape and wildlife of the Dales and help everyone to appreciate and enjoy this special place.

Heal Rewilding CIO launched on the 29 March 2020. The charity is a 21st century engine for change, accelerating private sector involvement in nature recovery and providing new routes for individual involvement in rewilding. The charity’s name is its purpose: heal nature (restore biodiversity), heal the land (climate change mitigation) and heal ourselves (improve human wellbeing). Its mission is to raise money, buy nature-depleted land and rewild it. Heal is committed to becoming the UK's first national rewilding landowner - its goal is restore 10,000 hectares of ecologically-depleted land, by rewilding a 200-hectare site in every English county, by 2050.
