I edited internal training materials for Korean lifestyle and beauty brand OliveYoung that had been translated into English, ensuring grammatical and orthographical accuracy, contextual appropriacy and natural delivery.

I primarily taught conversational English to university students at various levels of proficiency (including classes specifically geared towards advanced students). I also designed and taught content courses such as "Sustainable Agriculture and Urban Farming" and "English Through Debate", which aimed to equip students with both specialized skills and English vocabulary. I led several curriculum development teams within the Department of Liberal Arts, namely the rubric development team which would go on to develop standardized rubrics for English assessment at the university. I also led a team tasked with writing a report on navigating the new educational landscape created by the advent of widely accessible artificial intelligence systems. In this project, I was primarily responsible for brainstorming discussion moderation, role delegation and editing the final draft of the report.Other responsibilities included minute-taking during foreign faculty meetings, grading, LMS management and active communication with students and colleagues.

I taught conversational English to classes of 20-30 Russian and Kazakh middle school students in both summer and winter camps (Jul 2019, Jul 2023, and Jan 2024)

I taught conversational and subject-specific English to Korean elementary school students.

I taught English (mainly conversation, pronunciation, speaking and listening) to 500-600 middle school students with the help two co-teachers. My core responsibilities included teaching sixteen 45-minute classes per week and developing my own curriculum and materials for such classes. I was also in charge of creating the curriculum and materials for a supplementary after-school class (which focused on conversation exclusively), supervising and conversing with students in a weekly board game club, accompanying students on field trips/school events, running summer/winter camps and co-teaching monthly English classes for teachers. Past responsibilities included teaching monthly English classes at Tongjin High School and invigilating midterm and final examinations.

As a busser, my main responsibilities included transporting food from the kitchen to the customers in the dining area, clearing tables as customers finished their dishes, refilling drinks, cleaning and resetting tables, assisting customers with any demands they had or alerting my boss if I were unable to do so, and cleaning the bathrooms at the end of my shift. Peripheral duties consisted of answering the phone, taking and packaging takeout orders, cutting lemons, making tea/coffee, preparing soups/desserts, sweeping the floor and setting up the buffet.As a host, my main responsibilities consisted of welcoming and seating customers (inside and outside) as they entered the establishment, answering the phone, taking and packaging takeout orders, cleaning the bathrooms at the end of my shift and otherwise filling in as a busser when necessary. Peripheral roles were largely the same as those I had as a busser.

Through a series of 30-minute lessons via Skype, I taught students vocabulary and various verb tenses at an easily comprehensive pace. The lessons lasted several months and consisted of both written and conversational exercises so as to ensure that students fully grasped the major components of second-language learning (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).Students who participated in my tutoring program were able to pass their French classes after previously having extreme difficulties in developing an understanding of the language.

I began as a busser at Sakura in 2011, where my responsibilities included washing dishes, cleaning and setting tables, and ensuring optimal sanitation to create a clean and calming atmosphere in the restaurant.After showcasing a strong attention to detail and a persevering work ethic, I soon took on further responsibilities such as serving food and beverages, preparing soups and salads, and performing necessary tasks to create the most positive experience for the customer as possible.
