I was one of the founder members and writers of this magazine in the UK after I sent some e-mail to a German publisher to explain that a UK version of the German Linux Magazine would be a success. My first written article was about the Apache Conference in London back in 2000. I continued to write for the magazine when John Southern took over as the new editor.
I was asked by the magazine to produce various features about OpenBSD and Linux events around the world. Travelled to Belgium, Spain, Germany, Ireland and the United States to write about events such as the Linux Expo in Boston and the Gartner Open Source Summit in Barcelona. Apachecon in Dublin and so forth. Also wrote about network security and related issues.
I wrote for the magazine for some years after I suggested to someone else that a UK Linux magazine would be a good idea.
