• Responsible for production operations which encompassed up to six production lines from 50 – 250 full-time and seasonal employees. (Seasonal employees from April 1 – December 31.)
• Through employee engagement, increased production on stacker line 82% over the past 2 years.
• Over a 4-year period, mentored a seasonal worker in many key positions in the plant to where he is now a foreman of the labeling department.
• Identified project to improve cooling capacity of the pasteurizers to increase through-put of production line. Identified equipment needed, coordination with maintenance team, and presentation to senior management.
• Monitored training of diverse full-time and seasonal workforce.
• Monitored compliance for all safety aspects, including LOTO, of the operation. Trained staff on PPE; coordinated daily team huddles focused on operation and safety; and scheduled computer-based training courses.
