I am leading the team of researchers and engineers at Netflix building the next generation of Machine Learning algorithms used to drive the entire Netflix experience: from enabling storytellers around the world to create unique content that’s enjoyed by our members, to how and what we recommend on the Netflix homepage, personalize the user experience or.

I lead the Algorithm Engineering team focusing on content promotion and growth at Netflix, a mixed team of researchers and engineers building the next generation of Machine Learning algorithms used to drive the Netflix experience. In particular my team is working on new algorithms impacting three main parts of Netflix:* Finding and building the best.

Leading the Search & Recommendations Algorithm Engineering team of researchers and engineers. We use machine learning and other algorithmic techniques to improve search and recommendations on the Netflix product.

Worked on R&D of new search and recommendation algorithms, driving parts of the Netflix homepage, search, and search recommendations.

Leads the development of the Roku OS, focusing on improving the user experience and system performance, optimizing software for new Roku devices to ensure seamless integration and great performance

Focused on network efficiency and streaming stability. This includes the development of a more robust error handling system to maintain streaming quality under varying network conditions, and a redesign of the Roku application architecture to make it more modular, which makes it easier to update individual components of the application without impacting.

Participated in the development of the initial version of Roku's streaming platform and the development of the initial user interface. This included writing device driver integration code, creating a simple and intuitive navigation system that allows users to easily browse and access content, and ensuring that our software can effectively communicate with.
