I have accountability for innogy' offshore wind assets and investments. This includes developing new business opportunities, the development, construction and operation of our offshore portfolio of projects as well as other assets such as innogy' installation jack-up vessel. I manage a portfolio of ~1.8GW of operational assets (~1GW innogy share) and I manage a portfolio of construction and development projects (~10GW) in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands whilst seeking new opportunities for growth and value enhancement.

As a member of RWE Innogy’s Executive Management team for the offshore wind business, I have accountability for the strategic, commercial and performance of this rapidly growing business. My department of over 50 professionals are responsible for all commercial aspects of our offshore wind projects, from optimisation of the projects and the business cases to securing co-investors and working with Governments to enable our projects to be realised at maximum value to RWE. My Commercial Management team are key members of the project teams, responsible for the commercial success of each project, negotiating agreements with authorities and third parties as well as managing all construction contracts, claims, risks and budgets at our construction projects.My Business Management team manage and optimise RWE’s portfolio of offshore projects where we have interests in seven projects in four countries with a capacity of over 15GW.My Asset Management team as well as being the asset owner for all RWE’s offshore projects, they also mange RWE’s joint venture projects & co-investors.

Accountable for the development of one of the worlds largest offshore wind farms at that time, RWE’s 750MW Gwynt-y-Môr offshore wind farm. Leading and managing the project team we created an attractive and profitable project, gained consent, secured the highest level of support through ROCs, secured the major contracts, took the 2bn Euro project to financial close internally and also secured two co-investors.

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the combined heat and power (CHP) plant at Aylesford Newsprint.

My initial responsibilities were to assist the project teams to ensure the quality, integrity and timely delivery of the C&I systems. While doing this I was responsible for the setting up the C&I maintenance management systems
