Richard “Kelly” Grainger graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Studies. He started his career in marketing and sales while in college as an independent contractor for PepsiCo promoting Pepsi’s new product “Pepsi Twist,” for the Austin Power’s Film Campaign. During that summer he earned the “#1 Promoter Team in U.S,” for developing slogans and surpassing quotas. In addition to promo work, Kelly worked as an actor. Building upon his experience, he moved into the Manager-In-Training program at Abercrombie & Fitch, and assisted in the opening of the Volusia Mall store. Desiring to work in a salary plus commission based environment, he began work at a Premier Cingular Wireless store. While there he managed two locations. Consistency of performance led to 100 % Mystery Shop scores and a recognition award. Growing up Kelly moved across the Nation as both of his parents worked for State Farm Insurance. Naturally, this was his next opportunity in sales, which he pursued prior to and after his service as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Holding insurance licenses in property and casualty as well as life, health and variable annuities, Kelly positioned and sold products and services across all lines in FL, and the DMV. Currently, he works in real estate and the executive protection industry.He lives in sunny Florida. In his spare time he enjoys surfing, running, working out, going to the beach, golfing, playing tennis and supporting his daughter in ballet, gymnastics, soccer, basketball and swimming.
