I managed the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly analysis of $200M annual revenue while being the Financial Business Partner to the newly formed Northwest business unit and managing the ~$35M labor and benefits budget. I collaborated with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, and Operations to incorporate all pricing, volume, and production updates into revenue plans and reported on all key drivers into deviations and variance from Plan. Working closely with brand marketing, I developed profitability forecasts and recommendations for new products to be introduced to market. I managed one Senior Financial Analyst while educating many others on financial management, reports, and concepts. Advised ERP implementation team on FP&A process and needs.

Stakeholders were all levels of management, from Executives to department budget holders. I developed streamlined tools and process that provided reporting 2 days earlier in month while allowing partners a more robust level of information and analysis. I developed project trackers for brand marketing budgets and key company-wide projects and initiatives.

After CLEAResult purchased PECI, I served as the Financial Business Partner for the newly expanded West region (~$70M) while being a key advisor on the integration of PECI financial process into CLEAResult systems and reporting. Lead annual and quarterly forecasting processes and introduced first ever operational employee time utilization reporting on employee activity, which informed management on employee profitability and usage scenarios.

I managed the all aspects of the corporate-wide budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow activities (both short and long term) and the program accounting and timekeeping functions. My team of 5 included two Financial Analysts and three Revenue Accountants. My team's efforts resulted in the reduction of the annual budget process by 5 weeks while streamlining inputs and providing deeper analysis on key drivers. New financial tools were introduced around business development activities and market pricing research that resulted in more accurate profitability projections and more competitive proposal bids. I created financial models that detailed more than $3M in annual savings. This position was the most rewarding in my career as it was far reaching position that incorporated all aspects of the business and allowed me to work with all levels of management and operations.

In a newly created position, I helped build out the financial process and infrastructure of a rapidly growing government contractor. The budgeting and forecasting process had to be overhauled to be compliant with government Cost Accounting Standards and be submitted as part of forward pricing rates with all applicable detail to government agencies. I created the first ever department variance reports at the company and implemented Cognos Enterprise Planner as the official financial planning and reporting tool.
