Executive responsibilities to grow the business profitably and develop customer relationships. Supervise team in the identification and development of growth opportunities and delivery of compliant, complete, and compelling proposals.

Lead business relationships with clients. Responsibilities include building strategic growth plans using creative and deliberate activities, developing and maintaining relationships, and ultimately winning work.

Direct the market strategy and manage the business development life-cycle for Akima subsidiary companies. Specific responsibilities include relationship, opportunity, and pipeline development; bid & proposal resource management; respond to requests for proposals and information; produce and distribute marketing materials; organize, coach, and train employees on business development, capture, and proposal management.

Provide leadership for a matrix team. Interact regularly with customers and team leaders across multiple sites and countries. Accountable for management of contract performance and a multiple delivery order system. Serve as customer advocate. Responsible to senior leadership for growth strategies to include major contract award to USASMDC/ARSTRAT (SMDA2S).

Program Director (December 2012 - February 2014): Supervise contract performance and administer business growth activities. Provide customers with scientific, engineering, management, and technical advisory and assistance services. Manage profit/loss and conduct personnel recruitment, development, and retention. Contribute developmental assistance under Mentor-Protégé program for business growth strategies in general business management, engineering, and technical services of protégé. Deputy Operations Manager (October 2010 – December 2012): Deputy to Vice President for Space and Missile Defense Operation (SMDO); provide recommendations on course of action for management of programs to include profit/loss center management and personnel recruitment, development, and retention within the Defense Business Unit (acquired by Parsons in 2012). Manage SMDO business growth activities and resources .Manager, Missile Defense Division (December 2008 – October 2010): Accountable for oversight and growth of Missile Defense Division within Space and Missile Defense Operation of SPARTA, Inc. (acquired by Parsons in 2012); manage contract performance; provide engineering, management, and technical services with focus on test and evaluation of Missile Defense Agency's Ballistic Missile Defense System. Chief Scientist (June 2005 – December 2008): Scientific advisor for SPARTA, Inc. (acquired by Parsons in 2012); provide managerial and technical leadership; direct a broad range of technical efforts requiring specialized and diverse knowledge of Missile Defense Agency's Ballistic Missile Defense System, support elements, warfighter, and Combatant Commands.

AF Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC): manage operational tests of space, cyberspace, information technology, missile, and missile defense programs in the battlespace environment. Provide program and technical advice to Senior Executive decision-makers.

AF Institute of Technology (AFIT) Civilian Institution Program (CIP) - University of Denver. Dissertation title: "Kingdon, Lindblom, and Lovell: Assessing Three Models of the Public Policymaking Process."

Direct, resource, oversee, and conduct classroom and field training for over 4,500 cadets; author/edit eight course books on leadership, training, and character development.

Lead support staff activities; provide management and advisory assistance; direct and coordinate executive functions, services, and activities; represent commander in interaction with other agencies.

Air Officer Commanding (AOC) – provide leadership, mentorship, and training for cadets’ professional, academic, physical, and character development; day-to-day management of squadron operations.

Coordinate philanthropic support to USAF Academy (USAFA) military, academic, athletic, and character development programs; liaison with major endowment programs such as USAFA Association of Graduates, Air Force Academy Foundation, and Falcon Foundation.

Supervise, instruct, train, and evaluate performance of company grade officers in Missile Procedures Trainer and academic classroom environment

Combat mission ready Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) crew member certified in Minuteman III and PEACEKEEPER weapon systems; Operator, Instructor, Requirements Branch Chief, Flight Commander, and AF Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) ICBM Test Team member.
