While working as a teacher I gained my master degree in physics teaching. With the combination of teacher training and experience as an engineer, I can well explain the theory and enliven it with practical examples and applications. I like to teach in English and work with gifted students. ICT and video applications in the educational environment are natural for me. As a senior physics teacher I conduct assessments of upcoming bachelor and master teachers and also of contract students, for various universities of applied sciences.As a process engineer in the Dutch potable water sector I designed for the city of Leiden the hydraulic scheme of the water softening plant with a hydraulic capacity of 28 Mm3 annually. For the production plant near Katwijk I developed and implemented the algorithms for fully automated operation.As founder of the foundation Nicaragua-Haarlem I lead a team that evacuated and build a complete new village "Manos Unidas" of 52 small houses on the island of Ometepe. In the same period we build, together with volunteers and beneficiaries, three community houses.Specialties:Teaching physics and the link between theory and practice, ICT and video applications in the educational environment.
