As a healthcare worker I offer 25 years of clinical excellence and leadership experience. I began my career as a CNA and furthered my education in which I began working as a Respiratory Therapist. As a Respiratory Therapist I helped manage 4 offices clinically and assisted with the development of patient education programs and materials. I continued with my education and earned a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. I am currently employed as a Program Director and Lead Occupational Therapist where I manage rehabilitation in 5 assisted living/memory care facilities. I also serve as the Vice Chair of the East District of the Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association (TNOTA). In 2018 I volunteered with the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) where I served a year on the continued competency program development committee. I assisted in developing case studies for the NBCOT continued competency program "Navigator" which won the 2018 ICE (Institute for Credentialing Excellence) Innovator award. I've had experience with working with pediatrics, orthopedics, and geriatrics and have had special training with working with persons with autism. I excel clinically in leadership and education and thrive to perform at my optimal level. I feel that I am well rounded and skilled to lead and help companies grow to meet and exceed their best expectations.
