Sino-Singapore Investment & Innovation Platform Pte. Ltd. (“SSIIP”) is head quartered in Singapore and was established in July 2010 as one of the five overseas collaborative partners of the International Investment Promotional Centre of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA), with the objectives of assisting Chinese HighTech Parks and companies in attracting foreign capital investment and talent recruitment as well as to encourage qualified Chinese companies to globalise. SSIIP has since been involved in a no of key projects in China including Master Planning of a 70 Sq KM of Eco-Tourism park in a South Eastern City of Guangdong Province, assisted bio-pharmaceutical technology business parks and their companies in China in globalising their operations and involved in a proposed joint collaboration in the development of a Bio-Pharmaceutical Technology Park by the Wuhan Fibre Optics Valley Administration with Singapore Government and GLCs. One key project is to involve in the global rollout of the International Universities Innovation Alliance (IUIA) ( www.TheIUIA.org ) since its inception in early 2015. SSIIP works closely with IUIA in establishing IUIA-Cross Border Acceleration Platforms globally including working closely with top global universities and Institutions of Higher Learning, Research Institutions, technology incubators and venture accelerators with the intention to bring overseas’ technology startups and innovative companies in the areas of life-science, bio-science, healthcare, medical technologies, new materials, new energy, cleantech among many other sectors, for technology commercialization and scaling up in China before expanding and access to the global market. IUIA, established in early 2015 in Beijing under private sector initiatives to support Chinese Government's call for Mass Entrepreneurship & Innovation with the strategy to “Incubate Overseas, Accelerate in China for Global Market Access”. IUIA is supported by the Ministry of Commerce Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA), Ministry of Science & Technology, Minstry of Education and China Financial Asset Exchange, Municipals' Government, HighTech Parks, SEZs and many other private sector enterprises including some of the major local VC and PE Funds, Incubators, Venture Accelerators, RI & IHLs. SInce 2015, significant time were spent to assist IUIA in the development of the European market and the establishment of the IUIA London Office at Canary Wharf, collaborative partnership with Moller Centre of Churchill College of Cambridge University, Oxford Entrepreneurs of Oxford University and other British and French Universities, Incubators and Accelerators' collaboration were also initiated.
