As a Senior Vice President- Investments I develop strategies to help Build, Manage, Protect and Transition Wealth. I define wealth as Investments, Liability Management, Risk management and Trust/Fiduciary needs through affiliates. Investment needs are asset allocation, passive/active management, traditional/alternative investments and manager research/due diligence. I will listen to your needs and develop a strategy that reviews, evaluates and adjusts to current market and economic conditions. I will provide you with an Independent, Objective, Unbiased and advice. I have lived in Reno since 1967, I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Economics from the University of Nevada in 1984. In 94 I joined Prudential Securities and through several mergers/acquisitions became Wells Fargo Advisors. I have the designation of Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) from the College of Financial Planning. This rigorous course focuses on all elements of retirement planning, from the individual to complex corporate retirement plans. Continuing testing and ongoing education are required to maintain the CRPS® designation.I am Past President of GBYSL Soccer.I was appointed by the Mayor and City Council to serve on the City of Reno Financial Advisory Board. In July 2017 I was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Reno Tahoe International Airport. In 2013 the Mayor and City Council voted to rename the Moana Stadium to the Richard L. Jay Sports Fields.
