I was a founding member M&A Source (a national organization of merger and acquisition professionals).I provided insight and planning to owners helping them formulate an exit strategy that maximized business value. I shared insight into questions such as: When is the right time to sell? Should all or part of the business be sold? Is the company ready for sale, or should the focus be on building value for a future sale? On those companies I took to market, I was able to create maximum value for my owners by targeting strategic buyers who would synergistically benefit through acquisition of the company.In 1999 I created ISPBuySell to assist Internet Service Providers in the sale and acquisition process. We quickly became the premier brokerage firm in the Southwest United States solely focused on the sale of Internet Service Providers. We assisted several large ISP’s in their roll-up strategy to gain market share through acquisition.

I founded BIZ-NET Brokers, Inc. to provide business brokerage and valuation services to small business owners and buyers in Arizona. I personally recruited, trained and managed 26 real estate licensees in business sales. I designed and integrated a lead generation and follow-up program that resulted in 86 business sales the first year of operation. I taught agents how to read and interpret financial statements, correctly value a business, package for sale and maximize value through win-win negotiating and sales skills. As designated broker I was responsible for the review of all contracts and documents prepared by my agents and their clients counsel. I built the first Internet based MLS – multiple listing service for business sales to assist brokers nationally in the marketing of their business listings.
