My work included configuring Pacific Air Force Fly-Away communications kits that provided remote NIPR/SIPR services across the PACOM AOR and configuring Large and Medium expeditionary communication packages (Cisco routers and switches, REDCOM phone switches/HDX/Slice, SONUS VX900 Shout, KG 175D) that provided unclass and secret data/voice for 400-800 personnel.I also led in-house equipment training for new personnel and was responsible for asset management for IT equipment valued over $2.1M.AWARDS: Air Force Achievement Medal - Earned for deployment to South Korea in support of Pressure Campaign to deter North Korean aggression. This included standing up two large comm packages in co-located operated bases in South Korea and deploying Communications Flyweight kit to support over 100 personnel providing unclassified and secret data, voice, and video. I also managed the co-existing base infrastructure performing tech refreshes on Cisco Switches, VoIP, desktop clients, and supported a large exercise for over 1500 deployed personnel.

My work here included oversight of new changes to the data center and LAN, maintaining documentation of data infrastructure, facilitating power and hardware requirements, and creating logical network topology drawingsAWARDS:Joint Service Commendation Medal - Given for leading 240+ NSAT campus IT projects, oversight for a $25K network circuit bandwidth upgrade that increased signals intelligence missions for 50+ analysts and linguists, and upgrading 300 user devices to modernize network infrastructure and retire legacy equipment.

Assigned to the NSAT/ 543rd Support Squadron.In this role I performed network infrastructure engineering and fiber installs for 2000+ military, civilians, and contractors. My work included configuring Cisco and Brocade equipment implementing VLANs, Port Security, and Access Lists, as well as VoIP phone installs using Cisco Unified Call Manager.AWARDS: Air Force Achievement Medal - For decommissioning network infrastructure and standing up a new agency building to relocate 2000+ personnel. Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation Medal - I was a member of a team responsible for planning and executing the relocation of the critical Coast Guard One system for the Coast Guard Cryptologic Unit Texas at NSAT. CGONE enables teams to conduct routine unclass missions, connect with units, access personal records and operational message traffic, and communicate and assist remote intel teams deployed overseas.
