As the Head of Product & Design and member of the executive team at Banked, a Series A-backed company supported by Insight Partners, Bank of America, Citibank and other key investors, I lead product, design, and ops team across US, Europe and Australia at Banked, while also shaping the company's Open Banking payment product vision, expansion strategy and platform.I've spearheaded the successful development of Banked’s payments platform, new payment APIs, fraud monitoring, data and reporting capabilities and launch of B2B2C mid-market and enterprise payment capabilities for payouts and pay-ins worldwide on bank payment rails (ACH, RTP, FPS, NPP, SEPA). I play a multifaceted role in ops and customer support as the interim GM of US, while simultaneously supporting sales, partnerships and GTM - and also collaborated on the pricing and billing engine, in relation to ASC606 with CFO.

Part of Netflix's partnership product development, focusing on user acquisition and retention. I led development of new internal B2B/enterprise billing platform structures and crafted a comprehensive multi-year roadmap to automate payments and reporting processes. This initiative introduced new revenue-sharing models with key industry players from major device manufacturers (e.g. Samsung, LG, Sony), OEMs to service providers such as Comcast, T-Mobile etc. • Designed a near real-time platform that modernized legacy batch systems, enabled dynamic pricing models (user activation, bundle pricing), in multi-currency and by billing anniversary for Netflix’s recurring tier plans.• Streamlined multi-channel partner billing and revenue share recognition across global carriers and service providers; automated revenue recognition and reconciliation workflows and ERP integration.

At Sonder, I hired and scaled the fintech team to 15 members and led financial infrastructure development of the core booking and payments platform, and the implementation of customer support tooling integration with Intercom and new support processes, for improved guest experience.I launched a revenue tracking system and led development of a new billing platform to support real-time invoicing and revenue recognition in relation to ASC606. I was also involved in the development of a platform and tax engine, optimize existing integration with our OTA channels and new payment routing and optimization solution. I also led the Business Systems team, overseeing procure-to-pay and order-to-receipts processes and finops and revops in collaboration with Finance.• Architected next-generation financial infrastructure and developed real-time billing platform covering billing invoicing, tax and and multi-channel payment orchestration (OTAs, marketplaces, direct):• New billing engine catered for multi-scenarios such as prepaid, invoicing schedule and payment over time and postpaid (in arrears) in multi-currency (forex conversion) including payouts for marketplace referrals per ASC606 and revenue recognition compliance (accrued vs deferred revenue).• Invoicing and receipt solution, templatized the multi-region requirements that also includes a tax engine to compute local and country taxes for accommodation and ancillary services. • Onboarded new payment processor (Adyen, in addition to Stripe) for better approval and costs, via an internally developed payment routing service.

I was part of the team that developed and integrated payment capabilities into WhatsApp's core messaging platform and SMB app. WhatsApp payments is live in Mexico, Brazil, and India.

At Uber, I lead the driver payments and payments settlements engine processing 100M weekly trips, driving cost optimization. I also led the billing and revenue platform, automating the invoicing and financial entries based on completed trips streamlining financial closing. I also led the in-house development of a revenue anomaly detection tool and also a NLP data-based chatbot assistant.

Part of Universal Store Consumer (O365, Azure, OneDrive, Xbox Live etc) billing and tax team responsible for both Windows App Store and Azure marketplace international expansion. • Reworked Commerce Platform billing to include new use cases on metered/subscription tier and recurring based. Involved in solutioning for Windows Store (1st party, 3rd party Marketplace) commission/revenue share to cater for region and channel requirements. • Developed features of online bundled sales for revenue recognition.

I played a key role as an early employee in developing the core enterprise B2B platforms and product across invoice automation, procurement, cash forecasting, and financing. Founding member of the partnership and enablement team - I hired a team of 5, created Taulia’s partner certification program and successfully onboarded partners driving 5x of partner led sales and implementation.• Lead for ERP finance systems integration design - own requirements, design and delivery on Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and Close activities, including data flow integration between ERP, backend systems to Vertex tax engine and to Hyperion for consolidated reporting.• Led development of enterprise billing infrastructure supporting complex revenue streams:Designed unified platform handling fixed subscriptions that also included consumption-based API billing, professional services tracking, and partner revenue-sharing models.
