The Outer Banks Center for Dolphin Research is being founded to continue the research carried out by Rich and Kate Mallon-Day as a non-profit foundation separate from the Nags Head Dolphin Watch, its founding organization.

Developing a new internal system "EM-RADS" to monitor all Recruits, Applications, Documents, and Scores that are processed by the Enrollment Management team. This project is a lot of fun; I chuckle and say "This is so Cool!" at least 10 times a day.

Developing a Web 2.0 interface for Lifesprings Resources 'FloWise - Energy Management Solutions' for the Federal GSA. FloWise is currently being used by the GSA to monitor energy usage at 150 Federal buildings in Washington D.C.

We have been the Premier Eco-Tour business in the Outer Banks of North Carolina for the last 11 years. We use our dolphin watch tours as a platform of opportunity to carry out photo-identification research on the resident bottlenose dolphin populations. We also use the tours to inform our passengers about the work we’re doing and what we have learned about.

• Engineered, built and tested processes for algae based alternative fuel production. Product outputs were solid burnable bricks, ethanol and Biodiesel.

• Adapted existing Web-based product information system to eliminate design inconsistencies from several prior redevelopment efforts. Developed a consistent code base, database schema and user tools to allow product.

Outer Banks Adventures was a co-operative organization used to unite several independent businesses that provided unique and professional outdoor recreational activities in the Outer Banks. The purpose was to provide an umbrella organization to allow the sharing of mailing lists, customers and advertising strategies to improve the profitability of all.
