Canterbury Vale School is a NSW Department of Education facility established in 2006 to provide specialist support for students in the South Western Sydney Region. The school caters for a maximum of 21 students from Years 7 to 12, who have been identified by their previous educational setting as those who could best benefit from the intensive educational.

Lucas Gardens School is a Department of Education school in the South Western Sydney Region located in Canada Bay. The school provides educational programs for students with high support needs, including intellectual and physical disabilities, sensory impairments and complex medical conditions.

Casual holiday role

Responsible for general building and facilities maintenance, including minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, basic locksmith and other ad hoc duties. The role also included responding to maintenance requests lodged by residents, and consulting with them to ensure their needs were met.

Ensuring the welfare and safety of the approx. 250 residents at the college. The role also included regular after-hour duties being on call for all emergencies and requests.

3-month contract during the university break. Consulting with trades and services and organising quotes, as well as ensuring approved work was completed. Also responsible for the security of the college in operating CCTV and access control systems.

Bachelor’S Degree, Arts - Psychology With The Diploma Of Education

Undergraduate degree in psychology, including classes in development, psychopathology and organisational psychology. Diploma of Education.
