For more than 35 years, I have enjoyed working as an audio engineer/technician. Most of this work was done in professional recording studios and post-production video houses. I have also worked in the consumer and corporate fields as a technician, installing home theater and control systems, as well as, corporate conference rooms. At the last audio studio I worked for, I was an integral part of the engineering and managerial staff, and the "go to guy" for voice over, music recording and sound design.I designed, wired and maintained several post-production studios, and in 2007 I received my certification in AutoCAD2007, Architectural Desktop 2007, and SolidWorks. This has enabled me to streamline my designs. I have extensive knowledge of the installation, operation and maintenance of various consumer and professional audio and video gear, including Crestron, Gentner, AMX, Fairlight MFX3+, Dream Stations, Protools, the majority of pro video decks, and even a smattering of Telecine, Avid DS, and Adrenaline to boot.Specialties: Sound Design, Audio Editing, Mixing, Music Recording and Mixing, Live sound reinforcement, Front of house and Monitor Mixer, Mic choice and placement (it's a dying art), Great with designing work flow, Master of the soldering iron, room design wiz, computer geek (Windows, Mac, and a lil bit of Linux), snake charmer, light construction, Realizer of Operators dreams, needs and habits (even the bad ones).
