I was asked to join Thinkology to head up and project manage all of the online work for their clients, these included some big named clients including Warner Leisure Hotels, Bovey Castle. Thinkology is a multi-disciplinary creative agency primarily involved with digital media. Since I joined in 2006 I have been in charge of project for companies including Intel, Amazon, BT, Google, Salesforce and Steria. The mixture of work has meant adapting to different requirements; projects range from fully transactional tourism websites, bespoke ecommerce websites, fully interactive websites and also an Oracle to MS.SQL interoperable website for a US client.

In 2005 Touch Vision Systems and New Vision, two of the leading UK based DMS providers merged to combine their resources and partners to form the UK’s largest tourism technology networks. I had the role of heading the online team and was in charge of developing the new software platform that is now used today to supply their client’s with fully transactional and interactive websites.

After graduating from university in 1998 I joined Touch Vision Systems as their interactive developer. My role was to create and develop a series of interactive touch screen kiosks which were place in several key tourist areas throughout Europe. This included a network of kiosks for Tower Bridge, London where tourists were able to explore the view from the top gantries along with experiencing how the bridge operates using a series of 3D animations which I created using 3D Studio Max. With the increase popularity of the internet I was in charge of developing some of the earliest transactional websites for booking hotel rooms for the majority of the English Tourist Boards, including Visit Scotland and played a key role in the development of EnglandNet which was a project to bring all of the different Destination Management Software (DMS) systems into one single national website.
