Building the infrastructure for ExtraHop Reveal(x), SaaS-based, network detection and response service which provides real-time defense against cybersecurity threats.- Implemented a framework using Python and Docker to deploy resource-intensive ML algorithms as microservices running in AWS.- Deployed multiple algorithms which enhance our ability to detect real-time threats to hundreds of customers world-wide.- Ensure high uptime and reliability of the service by building monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana.- Built automation to respond to service issues using AWS Lambda.- Took charge and managed the team's build infrastructure, enabling the team to ship features at maximum velocity. Upgraded the codebase from Python 2.7 to 3.8, added static typing with mypy, used Docker, bash, make, and GitLab CI pipelines to streamline build processes, and managed the upgrade of Python and Linux libraries.- Worked 1-week rotating on-call shifts to maintain the health and uptime of our service using tools like AWS Cloudwatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.

- Implemented backend in Go/Python for a system which provides greater context to customers about anomalies our ML service detects, increasing engagement.- Migrated the entire Python codebase (100k+ lines of code) from Python 2.7 to 3.6. Eliminated the largest source of technical debt, and modernized our codebase.

• Created iOS application for iPad with Swift 3 for iOS 10. Used C# and ASP.NET MVC to create a RESTful API service hosted in Azure for back-end.• Learned software design principles: worked heavily with dependency injection in C# and the factory pattern.
