Chattanooga, Tennessee Area

Coordinated the implementation of a $12M+ statewide contract for Tennessee Blue Cross; serving approximately 300,000 TennCare members. Responsibilities included managing 40+ staff while overseeing the start up of statewide call center in Chattanooga, TN and regional office in Memphis, TN, maintaining relationships with members and providers and meeting both performance standards and financial goals. This included monitoring transportation company performance; enforcing contract standards; and managing transportation costs and rate issues.

Georgia / Virginia

As Regional Manager in two state operations, acted as the internal liaison working in collaboration with all departments and clients to ensure that company was fully compliant with State/County Medicaid requirements governing non-emergency transportation. Responsible for ensuring individuals receive the most appropriate, cost-effective delivery of transportation and ancillary services. Primary functions include conducting on-site visits and on-street observations, assuring compliance with transportation provider network, educating the said providers on such guidelines, which were the basis of company’s Provider, Quality Assurance and Improvement Program.Responsible for daily management of transportation budget of $11M+ for 884,000+ Medicaid trips per year as well as managing fleet of three hundred (300) vehicles/six hundred (600) drivers via thirty-five (35)+ contracted providers.
