Sunshine Foundation answers dreams of children, ages 3-18, with life-long, severe, chronic illnesses and conditions from income-constrained families; ones that do not qualify for other national wish-granting organizations that require a life-threatening or critical diagnosis.Since the most popular dream request is a family trip to Orlando to visit Walt Disney World and the other Central Florida theme parks and attractions, the children and their families we serve enjoy a weeklong stay at the Sunshine Foundation's 22-acre Dream Village in Davenport, FL while on their Magical Dream trip.Our founder, Bill Sample, always believed that children with life-long illnesses or conditions are just as deserving as children with a life-threatening illness. Our long term goal is to continue reaching more of these families with limited incomes that qualify for our dream program, and to help improve their child's overall quality of life. Their responsibilities include planning and budgeting their company's physical, social, cultural and service programs.

-Secured largest sponsors / grants in 15 year history of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida.-Improved quality of events, marketing, brand consistency and donor relations / cultivation. -Exceeded financial goals and netted highest funds raised to date for special events, including annual black-tie gala and Holiday campaign.-Applied and approved for multiple workplace giving campaigns, including IBM and University of Florida.-Developed planned giving / major gifts program and used wealth screening to identify top potential donors.

-Performed all phases of operations and personnel management, including providing excellent customer service, training and developing employees, merchandising, promotions, security, budget preparation, inventory management, and sales forecasting. -Trained numerous management candidates in Florida and Puerto Rico, with high job promotion rates. -Voted Best Customer Service Manager 2006. -Managed 3 of the top ten sales volume stores in the Southeastern United States.

-Supervised management teams and employees at multiple store locations, utilizing strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.-Performed all phases of operations and personnel management, including providing excellent customer service, training and developing employees, merchandising, promotions, security, budget preparation, inventory management, and sales forecasting. -Implemented regional marketing campaigns to increase sales and profits.
