● Actively motivate, encourage and develop staff to ensure a high level of competence, professionalism and customer focus● Provide formal and informal supervision for staff● Work in a structured proactive way in order to deploy and manage all resourceseffectively ensuring that there is effective 6 weekly staff rotas in place● Ensure that all staff are compliant with their training and that new staff receive theirinduction into the service, with a named line manager in a timely manner and arebooked into the induction programme in order to complete the care certificate● Ensure that the service remains customer focused at all times and the minimumstandards relating to support and safety are maintained● Develop a range of new initiatives that will benefit new and existing customers with● To oversee that structured sessions/ activities that add value to the customer are inplace with a range of options available that meets the holistic needs of the customer● To ensure that sessions/activities are meaningful and promote customers to remainas independent as possible and staff support them to recognise and build on theirstrengths, talents, knowledge, skills and experiences and ensure that these are incorporated in Person centred plans● To ensure that customer records are accurate and maintained to the required standard● Ensure Customer Support plans and risk assessments are in place and that all documentation is up to date and filed correctly● Ensure that all customer services are reviewed with a review of goals and achievements● Contributing to the monitoring of quality standards and support the implementation of improvement plans where required.● Active liaison with locality teams and local partners
