The network was used in conjunction with a suite of other data (geographic and non-geographic) to create novel econometric models of the 'green dividend' (house prices), preferences for living near highly reputable schools, car ownership, and commute mode decisions.Other tasks included writing literature reviews, database management, writing documentation and automating tasks with Python scripting.

Assisting 300-level (final year undergraduate) GIS students familiar with GIS to build upon their skills and build toward self-directed study and employment.

My role was to assist 200-level (second year undergraduate) Geography students encountering practical GIS for the first time, and to mark their assignments.

A temporary, part-time position in the School of Geography, Environment and Earth Sciences (SGEES) while the Technician was on paternity leave. My role was to provide GIS and statistical support for student and staff research projects; create, update and maintain metadata for the School's data resources; manage the arrival and provision of new data sources; manage the migration of data resources from New Zealand Map Grid to New Zealand Transverse Mercator; and to monitor map services on ArcServer (Kiwimage).
