Is architecture today only "because you can, as an architect", or can it be for the people who live their lives within it?" Why is Architecture not responsive to what people may want or enjoy? I believe it's time for a design direction giving us an Architecture that is responsive to living, working people, not just what can be created by software and austere spaces in some cyber visualized space, with shadowy images of people furtively pretending to be comfortable in cold and depressing spaces. Anyone can be minimalist.....We have gone the gamut. Nothing OR LESS is good. Lets get back to the heart of things... We are who we are, and that should be appreciated as a design element.
