I retired from the PA Dept. of Banking in 2014, I realized that I wasn’t quite ready to sit home, and while I had worked P/T for both Fleet Energy, State College, and Merk Construction, Lancaster, I was seeking more and spent about 1 1/2 years with Community First Fund (CFF) throughout their footprint of Harrisburg, York, Reading and Lancaster since October 2015. Effective 3/17/18 I transitioned out of CFF. I am VERY grateful for the CFF opportunity. I still believe strongly in their mission. Now, however, as a I am willing to consider some part-time hours with a business, assisting in budgeting, cash flow, and or, lending consulting. My tagline is CFO for hire! (Note -ONLY PART TIME!!!)While at CFF my focus has been on lending, however, outside of CFF my specialties for small businesses continue to be budgeting, cash flow, AR and AP; banking evaluations as well as overall financial management and guidance.I previously spent 5 years with the PA Dept. of Banking, both as a Policy Specialist with their Economic Development Group and then as a Relationship Manager within their Client Financial Services Group.I have over 46 years in the financial services sector including commercial banking, as well as the Pennsylvania Department of Banking. Proven results in lending, operational problem solving, sales, leadership, strategic planning, operational department implementations, vendor negotiations, business analysis and product development. Community leader/volunteer/fundraiser. Awarded Millersville University's 2010 "Civic Leadership" Award for community involvement.
