Richard serves as Mortgage Banking Specialist for First National Bank of Pa. He was recently awarded The 2023 Top Mortgage Professional by Washingtonian Magazine. In his current role, he has responsibility for originating mortgage loans across the DC area including The District, Maryland and Virginia. Richard works on loans of all shapes and sizes but focuses in the high end arena(higher priced homes), where he has made his mark over the past 15 years. Richard joined First National Bank in early 2021, with a number of years of mortgage banking experience. Prior to First National Bank, He served as Senior Loan Officer for a large Bank located in Washington DC where he made Presidents Club(Top Loan Officers nationwide) multiple years and was a Market Leader in the Washington DC area the past four years. He graduated with a Bachelors of the Arts in Political Science from Syracuse University and is originally from Shaker Heights, Ohio where he attended University School for Boys. Richard resides in Bethesda Maryland with his wife Kara and two children, Evelyn and Hunter as well as their cat Pumpkin. He has lived in Washington for most of his adult life but will always be loyal to his favorite hometown teams, The Browns, Indians and Cavs and, of course, THE Ohio State Buckeyes. Richard stays active outside of work and family life and has competed for most of his life in various racquet sport competitions both locally and nationally. He has played golf on 4 continents including North America, South America, Europe and Asia and successfully completed The Marine Corps Marathon. Richard was a candidate for the Leukemia Lymphoma Man of The Year Competition and has served on the Board of The National Trust’s Woodrow Wilson House, The City Tavern Club, Prince’s Court, The United States Court Tennis Association and The United States Court Tennis Preservation Foundation. In addition, and on a volunteer basis, he oversees the court tennis program at the historic “Gould Casino” facility at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey. Richard has a passion for his family, friends, historic homes, preservation, interior design, modern art and, first and foremost, for doing a great job for each and every consumer he works with at FNB.
