My role at Philips includes art direction within the Male Grooming team, which specializes in products designed to trim or shave men's hair, wherever it might grow. I create and steer all kinds of communication for our global product portfolio alongside a talented team of fellow art directors. My output includes conception and direction of photography, video and print design. Meanwhile, I dabble heavily in copy working to share the brand and category through stories that are meaningful to the people who’s lives we touch.

Designer within a full-service design and print agency in Derbyshire, working on a wide variety of print-based collateral. This included large format/exhibition design, brochures, packaging, branding, point-of-sale, newsletters, image retouching, direct mail and some design for web. Clients ranged from local to national and multi-national companies within diverse industries including hospitality, housing, leisure, construction and petro-chemical industries. Meanwhile pitch-work for new business involved research and conceptualising of ideas ahead of internal pitch-meetings with other designers, account managers and relevant director-level members of the RJDA team. The role involved liaison with account managers and in-house production staff to ensure client briefs were effectively completed to the highest possible standard. Meanwhile clients were often liaised with directly either by telephone, email or face-to-face.

Part-time administrative role working with various government agencies to ensure vulnerable children and families receive necessary help and support from social care services when they need it.
