Working with a UK based team to support our clients and deliver CAF Bank's lending impact; with support for charities and social enterprises including housing, faith organisations and other not for profits.

Working with my colleagues to deliver charity and social purpose lending in the UK. helping those organisations to have an impact on society.

As part of the Senior Management within the CAF Charities team, I oversee a team of managers providing lending services to the Charitable & not for profit sectors across the UK. I am involved with the ongoing development of both CAF Bank's lending products and processes in support of our strategic lending objectives. My team and I continue to assist clients with both debt finance and the full CAF offering in support of our mission to support the 3rd sector.

Whilst covering all areas of not for profit banking and related services, my primary role has been to be involved in the implementation of the CAF bank lending program. In this capacity I have developed relationships with a number of charities and other third sector organisations, and have been able to provide financing across sectors ranging including heritage, faith, education and social housing.My colleagues and I are committed to providing a traditional banking experience with an emphasis on sustainable relationships and good quality financing.

Primary non teaching member of the senior management team providing leadership on finance, asset and support capacity for human resources.This was an exciting and developmental role which offered both the chance to implement new systems and to match the requirements of new standards such as FSIS, but also project work.Successful projects included supporting the recruitment and on boarding of a new head teacher and other members of senior management, as well as the delivery of a brand new sports hall complex.

I originally joined HSBC as part of the Executive Trainee scheme and was privileged to work in North Wales and south Devon branches, as well as being part of the early business ecommerce team during my first two years. This period also involved a 7 week program at the HSBC management training college with colleagues from across the world and involvement in a wide range on non geographic projects including graduate interviewing, program communications and running graduate selection events.Following on from my time on the program, I held branch leadership roles in Tiverton, East Sheen and Richmond Upon Thames. All of these roles included elements of personal, commercial and retail banking.Following this period, I provided commercial banking services in an area of south west London dealing with a range of enterprises.Whilst at HSBC I also completed my Associate Chartered Institute of Bankers exams, which comprised of a dual award with a degree in financial services from UMIST. The degree was awarded at 1st class honours and I was proud to also be the recipient of the Whitehead prize for banking law during the period of study,

Assistant retail branch manager roles in Staines and Brighton were followed by a branch manager position in Salisbury. Each role was sales orientated with responsibility for both long and short term development of the unit and responsibility for customer service and the team.
