In business since 2005, GPI designs, manufactures, and distributes industry-leading rain gutter protection systems and accessories throughout the United States. GPI has partnered with Great Range Capital, a Kansas City-based private equity firm, to assist in accelerating its growth and augmenting its position as a leader. As CEO, I have overall responsibility for GPI and lead its executive team.

Tropical Roofing Products is a leading, national manufacturer of roof coatings and innovative roofing systems. Recruited by the owner to lead the company, accelerate growth, improve earnings, and develop and implement an exit strategy. Results achieved led to a successful company sale in 2022 at a high EBITDA multiple to SOPREMA®, Inc., a leading international manufacturer of commercial roofing, waterproofing, and wall protection solutions.

Brenntag is a global chemical distributor with over 130 years of industry expertise in blending, packaging, and delivering chemicals and food ingredients to customer specifications. Reported directly to the President of Brenntag Pacific with responsibility for all 19 distribution centers.

Provided business consulting and advisory services to private equity (PE) firms, institutional investor clients, and operating businesses. Projects included turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, sales & marketing strategy, operational process improvement, quality systems, supply chain optimization, financial analysis, budgeting, and organizational development.

Reported directly to the CEO with full P&L responsibility for the Western Division ($250 million) of Roofing Supply Group (RSG), a national building products distributor purchased by global PE firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) in 2012. Key member of the executive leadership team working directly with our PE Board of Directors. Led a team of 300 employees at 19 distribution centers. Results achieved in the Western Division contributed significantly to the successful sale of RSG to Beacon Building Products (NASDAQ: BECN) in 2015.

Senior Executive reporting to the President with P&L responsibility for the West Division ($500 million) of a $1 billion private transportation company.

From 2002 to 2011, held positions of increasing leadership responsibility for Angelica Corporation, a major B2B provider of uniform and linen services to over 4,000 healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and commercial customers in the U.S. Despite joining Angelica from outside of the industry, learned the business quickly, made a positive impact in a short time, and was promoted three times within four years. Played a key role as a member of the executive leadership team in scaling our business across the U.S. from $250 million to $450 million in annual sales, improving operating results, and positioning our public company for a successful sale in 2008 to a global Private Equity firm (Trilantic North America, formerly Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking).

From 1989 to 2002, held positions of increasing leadership responsibility in operations, engineering, and environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) for Ashland Chemical, formerly a $4 billion chemical and plastics manufacturing and distribution division of Ashland Inc. As Regional Operations Manager, managed all distribution operations in the Western U.S. and Mexico. Led a team of 13 plant managers and over 225 operations, customer service, and delivery employees for a region with sales of $350 million.
