I oversee all of the housing programs (emergency shelter, transitional, and bridge housing) for Grandma's House of hope. Our goal is for each of our clients to attain and maintain employment, permanent housing, and sobriety while improving their physical and mental wellness. Our mission is to "empower the invisible populations of Orange County by targeting those who slip through the cracks of other programs and/or have difficulty accessing services."

I lead the Volunteers of America (VOA) Supportive Services for Veterans and Family (SSVF) program for Los Angeles County. Our program promotes housing stability to homeless or at–risk–of–becoming homeless Veterans and their families. Our goal is to provide clients with the skills necessary to maintain long term, independent living. We provide short-term crisis intervention with services to include case management, housing and financial counseling, and assistance in obtaining various benefits and services. Our program is unique in that we provide services for both the veteran and their dependents.

We assist with housing homeless and at-risk veterans and their families. We also connect them to community resources. Our goal is to end veteran homelessness through outreach, intervention, and reintegration in order to help them become self-sufficient.
