As a Technology Adventurist who enjoys thinking a problem through, I break it down to figure out how it goes together and how well it functions now. To this day, my internet search history is rife with topics of “How does this work?”, “How did they make that?” and examples of combining different technologies and disciplines to create unique solutions across a breadth of fields, including electronics and microcontrollers, physics and chemistry. Perhaps you’ve been in a retail store and noticed someone assisting a customer only to hear the helper state at some point in the conversation/demonstration “Oh, I don’t work here”. Quite often that someone is me.I have been mentoring much of my life. In high school I spent my March Breaks volunteering - introducing computers to students. I also was a trainer and coach for minor hockey during high school.I have built multi-site networks, repaired hardware, automated configuration tasks to establish consistent results and made existing processes more efficient. An added advantage is that my experience, from entry level to head of the company, has not always been in organizations related to technology.
