Closely aligned with the Society’s focus in preserving 17 historical buildings which are typical of a New England rural community. Led the team managing all aspects of the historic properties from leasing, health & safety, building operations, maintenance and museum event operations. Directed capital improvement projects completed in accordance with historic district guidelines and architectural standards. These projects included a museum lobby renovation, 18,000 sq feet of cedar roof replacements, original wide plank flooring restoration in circa 1760 buildings and 8 HVAC system replacements. Established maintenance calendars, developed yearly budgets and managed all trades performing work at the properties across HVAC, landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and roofing. Key relationship owner with 11 commercial business tenants and 3 residential tenants utilizing our historic properties in the special "adaptive use " designation in Wilton. Rent received supports the continued preservation of the Society's properties.
