I love radio and remain wildly excited about the unique position radio has in an emerging, disruptive environment. The technology behind driving immersive experiences in the car, smart speakers, mobile apps, podcasts. The growth of DAB and remaining strength of traditional analogue AM/FM broadcast. The convergence of this innovation in Hybrid Radio, is a big part of the future of radio. The right mix of local content, networking and efficiency paints a compelling and beckoning industry.I currently work with many of Australia's biggest and most dynamic radio companies, along with the industry body CRA to deliver results for the industry and individual business strategies through mobile apps, app analytics, design/UX, backend solutions and insights.Some of what I currently do draws from many years experience in the industry at various levels, such as- Overhaul of a dozen radio website properties, launching mobile apps and DAB digital radio integration- Created and presented a range of custom and strategically designed network broadcast schematics for the National Pacific Radio Trust in New Zealand.- I was a guy on the radio. I held on-air positions as daytime, drive and night-time host on formats including Adult Standards, Adult Alternative, AC, Hot AC, Alternative Rock, Oldies, Easy Listening, and Retro 80s/90s including a #1 rating weekend show for an adult metro station barely 2 years old (as a casual employee)- Assisted with design and development of a state of the art audio production facility. - Built and ran a successful LPFM Radio Station from the ground up.Talk about any of these with me.     As a co-company Director, I was required as Studio Manager to develop a unique identity for this small company, whilst continuing to maintain daily workload. This required assessment of the capabilities the studio had, matching this with the skills of the three-fulltime staff (and one part time person), to engage new horizons in which to grow the company, profit, and reinvest.I was also responsible for Managing and Developing the company's website. This was developed as a two-fold showcase, where I firstly developed an online website, rich in detail, client statements and some audio samples, and then developed a CD-ROM which was rich in audio and video multimedia. Each of these worked hand in hand, promoting the other.
