Performed program support activities for the Workstations As A Service (WAAS) Program. Facilitated IBM’s purchasing activities of Lenovo desktops and laptops, Microsoft tablets and Star Tech peripherals for endusers at Dow facilities in 72 countries. Coordinated with multiple resellers (ACSL, Insight, Bechtle, Microware..etc) and vendor representatives in 72 countries to obtain technically consistent products, favorable pricing for our customers, clear customs and deliver orders in a timely manner. Worked closely with finance, purchasing, logistics and IT personnel to setup and maintain the WWTS systems to support new vendors and new customers. Participated in daily communications with customers and resellers on order and delivery status, approved monthly invoices and coordinated on sales reports.

Performed acquisition support activities under the PASS II contract in the Joint STARS Aircraft Modernization Program Office. Developed briefing materials on behalf of the Program Manager and program office personnel in support of Acquisition Milestone Decision Reviews. Assisted in defining Source Selection Criteria, documenting market research findings and developing key documents to support future competitive contract awards. Reviewed contractor data (such as the IMS, EVM, WBS and Spares Status) on a monthly basis as part of an Integrated Product Team.

Performed acquisition support activities under the PASS contract within the Battle Control System Sustainment (BCSS) Program Office. Developed briefing materials on behalf of the Program Manager and program office personnel in support of Requirements Working Groups, Configuration Steering Boards, Program Management Reviews and PEO Portfolio Reviews. Prepare and submit all biweekly, monthly, quarterly and annual program status reports to the PEO, SAF/AQ, and Congress using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project and System Metric and Reporting Tool (SMART). Provided assistance in negotiating contracts and contract modifications. Reviewed and distributed contractor data report (such as the IMS, EVM, WBS and Spares Status) on a monthly basis as part of an Integrated Product Team. Eighteen months of acquisition experience in the private sector working for a tribally owned small business. Managed two US Navy programs providing users with support equipment to test electronic warfare capabilities on aircraft both prior to installation and launch of aircraft. Managed one Air Force Logistics program to provide spare parts for aircraft. Developed monthly program reporting templates and standardized the format of program data on the corporate website across all divisions. Evaluated the user’s technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades. Defined design criteria, completed planning and cost estimates, and secured funds for enhancing operator terminals, communications equipment, and ground force tracking. Managed and monitored design, construction and repair of flight training simulator facilities at 40 sites throughout the continental United States, Japan and Europe for the F-15C, F-15E, F-16, and AWACS platforms valued at $400M. Saved $2.7M in construction costs. Evaluated premises for cleanliness, including proper garbage disposal and lack of vermin infestation. Examined lifting and conveying devices, such as elevators, lifts and hoists, to ensure safety and proper functioning. Inspected and monitored construction sites to ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and specifications. Monitored installation of plumbing, wiring, equipment, and appliances to ensure that installation was performed properly and was in compliance with applicable regulations. Reviewed and interpreted plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance to DoD regulations. Managed two major contractors providing Desktops, Laptops, and Servers to Department of Defense personnel valued at $300M. Led source selection Integrated Product Team in defining requirements, evaluating contractor product and pricing proposals resulting in five contract awards. Performed weekly reviews of pricing proposals to ensure all contract prices were lower than GSA schedule prices. Evaluated the user’s technology use and needs and recommended improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades. In response to events on September 11, 2001, led team of contracting and technical professionals to provide the Air Force Postal system with explosive detection equipment. Evaluated contractor performance annually in accordance with DoD requirements for contract management in the Navy CPAR system.
