After more than 30 years of working with much pleasure for some of the largest independent television production companies of the world (Endemol, Sony Television, Talpa) it's now time to seek new adventures. Taking with me so many things I have learned after producing and helping produce television shows in more than 40 countries around the world! It's been an overwhelming experience up to now and I just love to share my knowledge and experience with passionate and eager teams embarking on their next show.

Back to freelance consulting for The Voice International at Talpa. As a freelancer though I can now also spend time on creating formats and developing ideas into formats by using my experience in working with production teams and creatives in numerous countries around the world. I have currently been working closely with ZEE Canada in Vancouver, helping them with ideas they had already developed in the past.As all format creators, I am constantly in search of the secret to a successful television/media format.

As of January 2017, next to my consultancy tasks, content-wise, I have been put in charge of the television format The Voice. After rolling out the format somewhat seven years ago, it is now of the essence to keep the format alive and on air and to try and keep it as strong a format as it has always been. Quite a challenge in a fast paced and rapidly changing television landscape where free to air television ratings are dropping annually. Adapting the format to new technologies and viewing methods is not the only way to keep it in scope of a very large fan base around the globe. Our aim is to keep the viewers loving this show ;).

Fox Studios, Sydney Australia

Final responsibility, productional and creatively, of the fourth season of the Voice Australia. This season with returning coaches Delta Goodrem, Joel and Benji Madden, Ricky Martin and welcoming Jessie J as the new kid on the block. It has been the number one television show on Australian television again for the past two months. Nine Network is extremely delighted with the results and has recommissioned a fifth series for 2016.

Senior Consultant for 'The Voice of....". The continued immense popularity of this Talpa International worldwide success has created an impressive list of countries already producing and others just waiting for the roll out. It's an honor to be part of the team to realize this beautiful challenge. It has been a privilege to have met and to have worked extensively with The Voice Production teams in Australia, Denmark, Israel, Middle East, Portugal, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Quebec Canada, Serbia and the UK! Working with hundreds of very dedicated television professionals worldwide on the same concept. Best job in the world!

Even though not employed by 2waytraffic/Sony International, on a freelance basis I still fly out to foreign countries to help producers and broadcasters start up local productions of 2waytraffic/Sony formats. Among many others: Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, The Farm, Stars out of Africa, Silent Library and BabaBoom!

Since January 2007 I have my own company and I work as a freelance consultant/producer/director. My experties lies in the field of coaching executive producers and directors to find better insites for the programs they are working on, but also the training of starting production teams that need a bit of guidence through the "jungle of a television production".

During these two years I travelled, with much pleasure I must say, the world to help producers and broadcasters when starting up a new series of a 2waytraffic of Sony International format. Not only "following" the format bible but also letting them share as much of my experience as possible. Everyday was a learning experience for both parties!

As interim manager, I headed the promo department at Talpa television. The TV station belonging to John de Mol. Main objective: Making the department "tapeless". Result: Accomplished.

After returning from Portugal I headed the televsion production departments at Ivo Niehe Productions (an Endemol affiliate) and Palm Plus Productions (now Zodiak).

Produced and directed Endemol's most prestigious projects during a period of nine years, including the Opening Gala of the World Exhibition Expo '98 in Lisbon, The Golden Globes Portugal, Stars in their Eyes, Miss World, five series of Big Brother, Master Plan, Star Academy and Blind Faith.

Worked on most of Joop van de Ende Production formats such as Wheel of Fortune, Soundmix Show, Surprise Show, Now or Never, You Bet..? etc

During these five years at Veronica I learned the trade of making television. First at "Veronica Sport" as an editor and sports commentator and later as an editor and item director at "the Fitrace".

During my own army draft I trained newly drafted soldiers in physical education, obstacle course and survival skills.
