Even though not employed by 2waytraffic/Sony International, on a freelance basis I still fly out to foreign countries to help producers and broadcasters start up local productions of 2waytraffic/Sony formats. Among many others: Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, The Farm, Stars out of Africa, Silent Library and BabaBoom!

Since January 2007 I have my own company and I work as a freelance consultant/producer/director. My experties lies in the field of coaching executive producers and directors to find better insites for the programs they are working on, but also the training of starting production teams that need a bit of guidence through the "jungle of a television.

During these two years I travelled, with much pleasure I must say, the world to help producers and broadcasters when starting up a new series of a 2waytraffic of Sony International format. Not only "following" the format bible but also letting them share as much of my experience as possible. Everyday was a learning experience for both parties!

As interim manager, I headed the promo department at Talpa television. The TV station belonging to John de Mol. Main objective: Making the department "tapeless". Result: Accomplished.

After returning from Portugal I headed the televsion production departments at Ivo Niehe Productions (an Endemol affiliate) and Palm Plus Productions (now Zodiak).

Produced and directed Endemol's most prestigious projects during a period of nine years, including the Opening Gala of the World Exhibition Expo '98 in Lisbon, The Golden Globes Portugal, Stars in their Eyes, Miss World, five series of Big Brother, Master Plan, Star Academy and Blind Faith.

Worked on most of Joop van de Ende Production formats such as Wheel of Fortune, Soundmix Show, Surprise Show, Now or Never, You Bet..? etc

During these five years at Veronica I learned the trade of making television. First at "Veronica Sport" as an editor and sports commentator and later as an editor and item director at "the Fitrace".

During my own army draft I trained newly drafted soldiers in physical education, obstacle course and survival skills.
