After spending 2 years working security in New Zealand, I traveled to South Africa in January 1989 and have been involved in security in Sub Saharan Africa for the last 32 years.I have a varied experience, from protection operations in conflict zones, through to sensitive investigations in a corporate environment.I worked as a Reaction Manager for Stand By Security in 1990Protected assets during the Zaire/DRC war. In 1998 I was a member of the SGB for close protection in South Africa. The body was responsible for the setting up of standards for all police, military and civilian close protection officers in South Africa.
