For the two EU legal entities (SPGPrints B.V. and SPGPrints Austria GmbH), I provided advice on REACH and CLP, coordinate and implemented uniform REACH/CLP processes, safeguarded fulfilment of REACH/CLP obligations via annual audits. Furthermore I used to be the project leader for all REACH authorisation projects with regard to chromium(VI) compounds and responsible for the REACH registration of several imported chemicals.Besides EU REACH responsibilities, I kept track of the regulatory changes in the countries where SPGPrints is located, a.o. Turkey, India, China, Brazil and USA. When needed, actions were initiated in order to become compliant with the chemical regulations in these countries.Not only regulatory compliancy was important, also the Restricted Substances Lists of numerous textile and apparel brands were assessed and customers were informed on any compliance issues.Next to the above tasks, I assisted the Health, Safety and Environment department with toxicological advice (Occupational Hygiene) and I took part in the revision of the Environmental Permit of the Boxmeer plant (a.o. Seveso and soil risk assessment in 2017).

Investigation of the interaction of cosmetic ingredients (polycyclic musks and UV filters) with sex hormone receptors (e.g. estrogen and androgen receptors), both in cell lines and in transgenic zebrafish. The work was performed partly at the Institute of Risk Assessment Sciences (IRAS; Utrecht University) and partly at the Hubrecht Institute.
